Since our founding in 1954, Claydon FC has provided football to thousands of youth and senior players. With training and playing facilities at Blue Circle Claydon FC is the one of the top clubs in Suffolk. We are fully FA Charter Standard and all coaches are CRB checked, at least FA Level 1 qualified and experienced. We play in the local leagues and many of the teams will also compete in tournaments, and competitions. We also run a summer coaching camp for players and an U7 introduction day every year.
In the 2017 / 2018 season the first team gained promotion to the SIL Senior division after winning the first division by 2 points. Although not our first foray into the Senior division this will be one that the team and club are now well prepared for. The reserves narrowly missed out on promotion to League A and are in a strong position to push for promotion this season.
The 2018 / 2019 season saw all senior teams push on and the firsts finished fourth in the SIL Senior division, the Reserves won League B and gained promotion to League A, the ‘A’ team in their first season ended up third and gained promotion to league 3. The youth section went from strength to strength with more teams and players than ever before.
